Position Summary
BloomX is looking for a hands-on Production Leader to drive our transition from prototype to serial production. You will oversee end-to-end production execution, subcontractor management, inventory, and fleet operations, combining technical engineering leadership with hands-on work in agricultural environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Management: Lead the product transfer process from development to production (NPI) while maintaining quality, schedules, and budget.
- Subcontractor and Supplier Management: Locate, select, screen, and manage ongoing relationships with subcontractors (assemblies, machining, packaging, electronics, etc.).
- Inventory and Warehouse Management: Manage inventory of components, assemblies, and spare parts, and manage the warehouse/production floor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher.
- At least two years of experience in NPI processes, production management, and subcontractor management.
- Strong technical background in mechanical engineering.
- Proven experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on production projects.
- Willingness to travel abroad and work hands-on in agricultural field environments alongside office work.
Strong Advantages
- Background in agriculture or experience in the AgTech sector.
- Knowledge of the Spanish language.
- Experience managing a fleet of rented equipment/products, service layouts, and field maintenance.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
