Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Agricultural Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D Mechanical Engineering team. In this role, you will lead the development of new products, focusing on cutting-edge robotic pollination technology. You will be at the forefront of innovation, from concept through to implementation, helping to revolutionize agriculture with smart, field-ready solutions.
You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure mechanical systems meet design, cost, and performance requirements. This is a hands-on role requiring technical expertise, creativity, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full product development cycle, from ideation to production.
• Develop and optimize the company’s robotic pollination technology.
• Plan and document lab and field experiments.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting in the field.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Drive cost reduction, continuous improvement, and NPI (New Product Introduction) efforts.
  

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background with a proven track record of building functional hardware prototypes.
  
• Hands-on experience integrating mechanical and electronic systems.
  
• Proficient in 3D modeling and CAD tools.
  
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
  
• Willingness to travel and stay abroad for short periods.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in agricultural product development.
  
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems.
  
• Experience with robotics and automation systems.
  
• Knowledge of OpenBOM or similar BOM management tools.
